Matt Anniss had is first article published in 1993 (in weekly Rugby League newspaper League Express), and has not stopped writing – first for fun, then as a student journalist, and since 1999 professionally. He has been a staffer on Internet magazines (Practical Internet, What’s Online, Internet Made Easy), a short-lived monthly dedicated to downloadable music and the technology behind it (MP3 magazine, which launched in 2000 and closed in early 2001), and much-missed dance music monthly IDJ AKA International DJ (where he rose from Music Editor to Deputy Editor and finally Editor). Since 2009, he has been a freelance writer, mixing regular journalistic work with copywriting and authoring books.

Matt is an adaptable writer who has written in a wide variety of content styles (news, reviews, features of all kinds, interviews with individuals, opinion pieces etc), for publications and websites including:
